R U Stoopid????!!!!!!!
I have been asked this question so many times in the last three weeks I have stopped counting.
After Studying Business/Accountancy (not because I particularly enjoyed them but because I was good at it). Having worked in the "industry" for a number of years, having started very young so my wages would help me pay for studio time. I came to the realisation nearly 15yrs later that I actually really dislike my job and reading this book allowed me to open my view so I could see that maybe I could do what I wanted to do rather than spend my life in the "I hate my job cycle". I recently (December 08) incorporated my music publishing and car rental businesses and have acheived a level of success. I tendered my resignation three weeks ago and I am one week away from "sinking or swimming".
"Results happen naturally when the motivation is pure"
I know this could be the wrong time however theres never a wrong time to make the right decision.
Wish me luck!!!!

Good luck
Congratulations WIndrushpickney
I'm sure you've taken the exact right move. Hang in there and enjoy the ride.

You're not stupid!
I'm an accountant - and one thing I do know about accounting is that if you hate it, it's got to be one of the world's worst jobs!
You've done exactly the right thing in getting out if you don't enjoy it. Good for you.
And I've heard it said that now is the RIGHT time to start a new business. There are lots of people being made redundant and starting up their own businesses (me included!). So not only are there lots of fellow entrepreneurs to talk to, there's also a nice large pool of potential customers!
Go for it and the very best of luck.
