Electrical Concepts up till now

Well Hello,
Thanks for dropping by.
It's been a strange few months since my last post, so here is a quick run down:
* I left BNI after 3 years.
Well in November my membership was up and I just needed a rest from the whole BNI thing, It works but what with doing 4Networking I thought my time was up, However saying that I'm thinking of going back as the Utility Warehouse that way I can promote 4N too!
* I took on an electrician and he lasted 2.5 days
It was totally weird, He lied to me about what he could do, the work he did was shoddy to say the least and I don't think he could take it and so he quit.
* I've started up in Network Marketing with The Utility Warehouse Discount Club
The Utility Warehouse supply electric, gas, phone and broadband etc and after being a customer for 3 years, I met a guy called Wes Linden, he's doing okay for himself and you can see him in the video at my website http://www.MoneyMakerSite.co.uk anyway he went through the UW opportunity with me and for £200 I thought why not give it ago. I had been told about the opportunity before and was a bit wary but think it is possibly one of the best decisions I've made, I had read Napoleon Hills Think and grow rich and that book really has changed my life, The book is what guided me to UW and the future is looking very very bright right now!
* I've taken on a female trainee electrician.
I took her on, on a part time basis, She is really fantastic and is better than the electricians I've taken on before one problem is that now I have no work for here right now and I don't want to lose her to another company.
* Work has been very slow (almost non existent) since the beginning of December.
Things have just gone dead and most people seemed to want to leave it until after Christmas, and only now does it seem to be picking up! I think it was down to an overly long Christmas period and this supposed recession that has people worried so they are holding back, it would seem that only the emergency and little jobs are coming through.
* I'm running 2 4 Networking groups in Hertfordshire in Knebworth and Welwyn Garden City, Check out 4N at http://4networking.biz

* I very nearly ran out of money While still owing lots.(not a good place to be)
Due to lack of work and debtors I nearly became bankrupt, I had just over £11 in my business account and -£60 into my personal accounts overdraft at one point and this really is a scary thing to happen, I think I'm out of it now. I've done what I can to claw some money in and I'm going to be okay, I've learnt a huge lesson from this and won't let it happen again.
* I've read load of very good personal development books.

Loads to list but try the Sight Edge by Jeff Olsen he talks about things that are easy to do that will make you better....but they are also easy not to do too! one thing is read 10 pages of a good book each day(that means a development book not a fiction book) , so now I do and by the end of the year you would have read between 15 and 20 books I'm on my 5th since November.anyway check out these books:

* Had an idea,(well it's not new, but it would be new to my industry) that could potentially make me a millionaire.
Well this one you're going to have to wait and see, If you see me in the Times rich list you'll know it worked!

I've been told that I'm doing too much what with Electrical Concepts, UW and 4N however in my mind I'm not and they fit really well together all for the benefit of my main venture of Electrical Concepts, UW teaches me sales, there is great personal development, will make me a lot of money in the future and I can stop drawing an income from EC so I can leave money in as retained earnings and use it to grow the company plus I do peoples electrics and I can supply them the electricity too! 4Networking will teach me how to lead and run teams, each group is like a small business in itself, plus there is the bonus that I'm out networking and in a prominent position to promote Electrical Concepts so bringing in more business, and I make a bit of money when people join my groups.
