Week 1: Starting a new journey.

Okay, so if you have read my profile you will see that i am a recently graduated university student who has discovered he wants to be a chef in his own resturant, rather then pursue a career as an advertiser.

This has led to some very less than impressed glances from the parents, not to mention just about anyone and everyone (apart from some very supportive friends, and a wonderful girlfriend) telling me what a waste of money and what a waste the last 4 years have been. However i see that university was a huge learning curve for me, helping me discover who i am as a person while providing me with the means to learn a huge array of new skills, both in my private and working life. These lessons will stay with me for as long as i shall live and i believe that they have undoubtedly made me a stronger and better person. Is this really a waste of time and money? Or time and money well invested?

On either side of the coin it is now in the past, it can not be changed, and it is only the future to look forward to. I feel like i am embarking on a new journey in my life, and i honestly feel like it is one that i should be embarking on. I feel nervous yet excited, and I am one hundred percent dedicated to throwing my all into the path ahead, no matter where it may take me.

My business idea and plan will become evident in the future, but now i must start at step 1 right?

Time to convert that walk in walldrobe into an office!
