Wow - its been a while.................

Scarecrow Consulting is now fully pledged operational business. I thought by having a well thought out business plan I would be home and dry!! I may have been a manager - but wow this is hard work.................. When big a big corporate changed - I would take a deep breath and think here we go again - I like change but in the corporate life I did get frustrated with it. I am finding that now my plans change every week - the sure leads turn into a nightmare and the little sniffs turn into gold mines - who said logic was a sure thing. It’s not just about winning - it’s about looking to win again soon as the game is over - when you are out of the cup start to think about the premier league again - then you also have to keep an eye on next season to ensure your long term future. You also need to ensure you have a least a 30 goal a season man on the team - a solid good thinker in the midfield and somebody hard enough to boot the ball up the field all day long at the back. I am currently playing all of the roles and still finding my feet in the penalty area would be a good summary. Playing a great defensive game but need to score more goals I think they would say on match of the day - well white hart lane was not built in a day!! I am now looking at ideas to diversify my offering - so watch this space - what is next. Do not forget - please ask your selves every day - what can the straw man do for you???

I know what you mean about corporate frustration. It's exactly why i've resigned today to start up my business in a few weeks time (it's been on the sidelines for a few years!) Well done so far, sounds like hard fun... Jamie ps- can't wait till it's me on the pitch!

Well good luck with your venture - do not think it is the easy option. I love having control - but bills still need to be paid - it is a dog eat dog world!!
