Is that when you know you have your own business ??

I have now completed week one, so now have a nice organised office. The question is, do you know you have your own business, when you are thinking about it a lot an ideas are coming into your head at the strangest moments ? I now know what the notebooks are for!!

I have also had my first mini go at Market Research I went to speak with a group of young people about my ideas, an invaluable thing for me to be doing, the feedback was mainly positive, but they did have some ideas, for some changes, which was really positive and has meant that I have made positive changes to what I will be delivering, which is great.

I have been making use of the wonderful services of business Link and have recently attended one of the Enterprise shows which was great for both information and networking opportunities, and I would recommend to anyone to look out for them next year. www..theenterpriseshow.com as all the help is under one roof and they can offer good quality help at whatever stage you are at.

I have recently attended a finance workshop run by business link, and the presenter told us about a great business planning tool from Alliance and Leister commercial banking, which you can download to your computer, it talks you through every stage of the business plan and compliments Steve’ s book brilliantly.(I am still using it constanty!)

I have also been in touch with the local university and been able to take advantage of resources through their Business Mine scheme for graduates, I recommend you look up your local scheme on the internet, and check out eligibility because they too have been an invaluable source of support.

Finally, I have been on the Princes Trust Business website, and although I am not eligible for support, I have downloaded all the business guides, which are a great starting point and easy to understand. www.princes-trust.org.uk
