No, I'm not dead

Okay, okay, okay. I might as well be, as I have not shown my face round these parts for such a long time. Honestly, it is no way to act, is it? It's impolite and careless.

My very many months in review goes a little like this:

I took Lisa's advice (of U-Handbag fame) and started a blog. It has been great as it puts out feelers into the world wide web. I have had more traffic to my own website from this endeavour and I highly recommend starting a blog for any young, old, or completely ancient entrepreneur. Also, I have done a little youtube video to promote my products for Valentine's Day. It was a risk, I felt, putting my quirky face, mixed up accent and strange sense of humour to the name Gee How Quaint, but it is out there and hopefully slightly entertaining people all over the world. Well, at least it has entertained 60 people in the past 7 days as that is the number of views it has received. If you want to check it out, please go to www.youtube.com and in the Search box type in The Perfect Valentine's Day Gift. Please ensure you choose the one from geehowquaint, which appears as either the 3rd or 4th option on the list to the left.

And...I am going to prepare a press release to go out to the publications located here in the northeast. I have been here for 10 months now and I think I need to start making my presence known. Eek.

And...I now have 4 looooooooooovely seamstresses assisting me with my bags. They are very lovely and very hard working. I have added a bit of info about them on my About Page for the website as I feel that they need some attention, too.

Well, that's me done for now.

Wow it sounds like we've got the same ideas for '08
I've followed Emily's lead and started a Blog I'll link to yours.
I'm going to do several YouTube vids the first is 'what to do if you lose power'

Wow I'm gonna get my 15 minutes

I'm also going to concentrate on PR and making myself an industry leader with some articles I plan to write.

With your seamstresses that's great you're going to put them on the site and give them recognition you need to put photo's on to if they don't mind as it will make the company more personal if people know who is making their stuff!

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your note on youtube regarding my video. I was so nervous about sending that thing out into the world. If you get the humour wrong, people just think you are a sad, sad person. And maybe I am a bit sad, but I was willing to take that risk.

It was actually a pain in the backside trying to even get the video loaded onto the computer. YOu need to make sure you have the right software. I figured if teenagers all over the world had sussed it, how hard could it be. Well. Several hours of my husband hitting his head against the wall in frustration later, we finally did it. I can't wait to see what you make. Please let us all know when they are loaded so we can pass them around to our friends.

Also, if you are on facebook, send your video to your friends so they can pass them on to their friends, etc, etc.

I am so happy to see that you are still kicking around these parts. I have been absent, shame on me.
