The dilemmas this move has caused me
Eons. Ages. It's been forever since I had a play on this website. I feel ashamed that I haven't logged on in what seems like months. What can I say, I have just undergone a major uphevel.
So, me and my husband and the biz have moved way way up north and let me just say, I am lovin' it here! There is so much to explore in this new city, and country walks are just a short drive away. So much better than where we were living (sorry, southerners).
In the news - Essentials, July edition. A journalist has informed me that I am getting a mention...whether it's just the website name or a picture or even words with picture, I do not know. But hey, this is great news as it means the bigger mags are picking up on Gee How Quaint.
These many weeks I have actually been without the internet. I can access it through my husband's computer, but I cannot do simple things like send an email. Try running an internet business without the basics, and you get pretty fed up pretty darn quick. So, this is how I have been spending my days: walking. I walk into town and park myself at a library computer, for a measley 60 minutes, which is hardly enough time to get most things done. I shouldn't complain...at least there are facilities for the broadbandless like me. I am also struggling as half of my stock is in storage. I thought we would have moved into the new house by now, but we are still biding our time in this (fab) flat.
Now, the task is to establish myself here. I need to find local seamstresses and people to host parties. Change is always challenging, but I am up for it.

Great PR
Cassandra,
Really pleased that you are getting that PR plug in the magazine! Well done that is great news!
Do you know how they found out about you? If you know this then that might help with getting more mentions in other magazines too.

Not sure how they found me
Hello Anna Moderator,
Actually, no I am not sure how they found me. I used the press dispensary service this time last year, but can't imagine that article would have lasted a whole 12 months on a journalist's desk.
From what I can gather, I think she was just doing a Google search and had something very specific in mind: Travel accessories. Perhaps I should just email her and ask specifically and stop trying to guess:)
