Whatever next

I have just had my eyes opened!
Having just spent well over an hour talking Blackfish through with my a relative I have just had my eyes opened to a number of things.
I have been really struggling to sign a client up for the consultancy, Im stubborn and wouldnt accept I had it wrong and when people tell me I cant do something it makes me more determined.
My problem isnt the idea, its not the competition it isnt even whether or not there is a need.
Its this.
Whilst I can save organisations money they want problems and headaches solved.
My business gives more problems, strange as it sounds because I show people how to save money they then have to implement the solution.
I dont save them enough money that the MD will want to get involved but the IT manager doesnt want to show hes hired a consultant to fulfill part of his role!
So im in the middle of a rock and a Hard Place.
There is a very simple solution to this, which was actually my first plan. Which was to supply the Hardware as well.
I was convinced by a couple of people close to me that this wasnt the way to go.
So I will update you in a day or so when my plans are clearer.
I also found out cousin is an Ex Area Director of a High Street bank, a Management Consultant and he does this for a living but usually for far bigger businesses.
So I may need to go back to drawing board and rethink a couple of things but I have got a Mentor and then some.
Always a silver lining.

Dear James What a good idea
Dear James
What a good idea to get a Mentor. I would be really interested in your progress. I feel sure everyone has a 'way in' and I would love to see you find it.
Kind regards
