Lessons Learned

I thought I would share with you some of the mistakes I have made.
Its all too easy to spout on about what we think we are doing right but the real lessons are from learning what we have done wrong. Or maybe in todays society we would prfer to talk about what we could have done better.
Heres an example
When I began Blackfish Solutions I focussed on what my unique selling point was and how to express this.
However whilst this is important I missed a key element which I am now in process of rectifying so if you happen upon my website over the next week or so it may seem a little like a building site!
What I missed is that everything that comes into contact with my potential customers needs to talk to them about them not Blackfish.
What I mean by this is that your client needs to understand why it is about your company that provides them with what they want or need.
My example put simply is that I told them about being independant, best advise, honest open etc etc.
This is all important and valuable stuff but its all about Blackfish not the customer.
What I am now saying and the website is going to be changed to reflect this is
Blackfish
Maximises Value
Minimises Costs
Saves you money
Solves problems
Gives a tangible clear return on your investment
Provides these things within a 3 month documented process and timescale
Its does this within the areas of Photocopiers Printers and Multi Function Devices
Focussed on your
Lease Contracts
Service Contracts
Service Level Agreements
Aquisition Costs
Cost of Ownership
Deployment and Use of these devices
I do hope you can see my point it is making a huge difference to Blackfish and I hope its of value to you as well.
