Getting ready to Go For IT

I have been waiting in the wings with some trepidation, hoping there is going to be a good time to go for it. There is no good or time, just time. So my mind's made up, no more waiting, it's time to do it.

Having spent the last 18 months researching and preparing for the leap into business on my own, the time has come to put the research into action. Follow through each part step by step.

How do I feel? Bloody nervous about it! This is life changing, and there will always be some element of doubt, but I can use this, and having been using this as a driving force to make sure that everything is done properly.

So what is am going to set up in. Following my current work area I will be using the following core areas:
IT Consultancy
Web Design and Development, Support and SEO activities
Network Design and Support
Applications Design
IT Support

Hi Alan -

I wanted to congratulate on taking such a huge step. I started my own practice 6 months ago and know it is one of the biggest and most scary / exciting decisions anyone can take. You are starting a business in a growth market that almost every SME needs to be successful and I'm sure that with a clear business plan and marketing approach you'll be successful.
