I havent been posting here much, well if the truth be told noting for 22 weeeks. My business should be up and running by now, but it's stalled. Everywhere I turn there's a brick wall. Probably the biggest hurdle isn't financial, nor planning, or accommodation, it's support.

I am finding that everybody around me (family) is well less than supportive here, and its just wearing me down. Not that the business isnt viable or a good idea, or I cant do it, there's just negativity all around me. read more »

Making my mind up

I had a lot to think about this week, mainly how will I keep my head above water in these times of recession. So it was a serious contemplation about how I keep payning the mortgage (at least for the next 11 years). I went through the one worksheets in the "Start Your Business Week by Week" book again, is that really what I am committed to each month? OK so I need to look at reducing my outgoings (not sure how though as its all pretty much essentials), and wow I didn't realise what I need to survive. read more »

I have been waiting in the wings with some trepidation, hoping there is going to be a good time to go for it. There is no good or time, just time. So my mind's made up, no more waiting, it's time to do it.
