Update and big time resource problem !!!

I was really excited last week as Steve asked me to take part in the next podcast reference (I presume) the planning of my new business. Unfortunately I was unavailable at the time of the recording and I'm waiting to hear back as to whether this can be re-arranged - hoefully so as it would be a real honour !

I think in my last log I mentioned I was talking to a potential business partner. We've now had a serious of discussions where I think he's become very keen to join my project. He has massive experience of our industry, lots of existing clients who we believe would come and join us (some that I helped him acquire over the years so they know both of us) and most importantly from what he says he is at that stage where he's sick of being at the beck and call of a boss who seems uninterested in anything except cash.

This is no way to run a business in my opinion and I firmly believe that offering superb solutions and service to clients will result in the cash coming my way. Rather than letting the cash drive me. So hopefully depsite him having a good package in cash terms I think he'll come later this year.

In the meantime I'm still hard at work and have agreed a deal with a web designer (who i met through this forum) - he gets my project and has negoiated a fair price with me for the work. Importantly I'm hoping that over the years he'll become a central part of my web process.

Lastly, a word of warning - if any of my fellow entrepeneurs own an XBox 360 do not buy GTA 4 - I promised myself that because 2008 was such an important year for me I would cut back on frivolity like videogames but I did allow myself one purchase this year and unfortunately that was GTA 4 - big mistake, it is the best game ever produced and I am wasting away in front of my telly as a result.
