Personal/Professional Development
Hi Everyone,
I'm in the process of setting up a Personal/Professional Development company. The main function of the company will be to develop clients' interpersonal skills and assist in portraying themselves in a more positive way bin both written and visual context. This in all should help get them that promotion or dream job!
At a mere 20 years old, this is my first venture into the world of business, and wondered if anybody could give me some advice on the best ways to go about setting up...or even how to recruit an approproate business partner?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Dan

Business Partner
Hi Dan,
Sounds like a great idea for a business, Who is your target customer?
I figure that the people who really need it, may not see the value in it, for example you may charge £1000 for the service and they may not like that price seeing it as too expensive however if they end up getting a job or offer for £2000+ over what they would get without your service then it is well worth the cost and value for money!
One question I have is why do you need a partner?
You may have a valid reason but I've experienced it and heard from other people that partnerships don't work for various reasons, I thought when I started my business up that I needed the help of someone else but at the end of the day they just caused headaches.
Good luck with your business Dan
