A brand spanking new week

Lovely sunny morning in the North of England today.

Full of the joys of spring, motivation and positive abundance.

Got a meeting this morning for my 9 to 5 - if all goes well it will be my first live case since joining in January - worth £ 20,000 revenue for them this year and nearly £ 60K in the following 12 months.

Even though it's still profit for someone else I'm excited because :

1) I love to be succesful and my at my previous 9 to 5 I was frankly a bit rubbish so I don't want another disaster on my CV
2) It will be nice to go on and start working for myself with a real positive finish to the 9 to 5
3) I have a meeting with my MD tomorrow and this will be good news to take
4) It's a good client who need the service and will make good use of it

So fingers crossed.

On Friday I have a meeting with my potential partner/sales director (who I think I mention in a previous post) - spoke to him last week and he seems keener than before - he's now talking about 'when' we go off on our own rather than 'if' - I think the biggest stumbling block may be his status as director versus employee i.e. whether he's able to invest in the business from day one or whether he wants to be a standard (senior) employee - we'll see.

Had a few ups and downs last week - not really business related, maybe crises of confidence - but I'm back, I'm bad and ready to sell

Now that's what I'm talking about !!! (I am refraining from doing a pteradactyl impression but only just!)
