GRANTS???????

GRANTS???????

I've been busy the last few weeks setting up wholesale accounts and what not, so sorry ive been unable to take part in the dicussions.
Anyways i was wondering about grants in the E.U where does someone start????!! Its so hard to find out the exact place to make an application. Can anyone help??
I'll have my website up and running soon so you can all see it then!!!!!!

Hi Lee,

Could you specify a bit more which type of grant it is you are after? Examples: General start up ones (could be for premises, marketing, website design), exports (again could be for all sorts of stuff), or a different area altogether?

Also where are you based? In the UK you can find out quite alot of information via the Business Links www.businesslink.gov.uk and also from your Chamber of Commerce.

If you fall in to certain groups of start up entrepreneurs there are also seperate grants/cheap loans - one example is via the Princes Trust (for the under 31s).

Please elaborate, and I am sure someone will be able to help. Anna

I am looking for a grant that covers my website start up costs and capital to buy some stock? I am based in the rep of Ireland.. hope this helps. thanks
