website has now gone
i had a website done for my company and it was good design and did everything i wanted. I paid around £600 -£700 for it. 3 weeks later i can not get onto my website now and it sems it does not exist. I then telephoned the company to see what has happened but when i telephone them it goes on there answer message saying the company has ceased trading. What can i do as i paid £650 for the website can i get access to it or get some other web designer to get it up and running without paying too much again.

Hi,
What is / was the url of your website?
How did you pay them?
Did you register the domain name or was it registered in your name? If that the case you should be able to get the domain back - if it was registered under their name it will be a bit more tricky.
Let me kno the details and i'll see what the state of play is and see what i can find.
cheers
Andrew

Looks like the domain name is registered to the IT company. You may want to contact Nominet and/or the hosting company for advice regarding the domain name. However, since the website doesn't show up at all on that url, it may be that the pages no longer exist - unless the hosting company has a backup copy.
