Fairs a bit slow, B2B good.

Well, it has definitely been busy since I gave up the day job - I still can't quite believe it! However, I have thrown a lot of accumulated rubbish away and sold a number of books that I purchased for teaching and never want to look at again, e.g. graphic designer David Carson (no offence intended David if you ever read this).

I have been selling at a number of fairs, we did the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show a couple of weekend s ago - which was good, especially the Saturday that was excellent. I also did a one day craft fair at Northallerton...urmmm not so good to say the least but I will see how the next one goes (They are only once a month until Christmas). Last Sunday I was at a Vintage Textile & Fashion Fair, this was just o.k. - a lot quieter than I had expected. I visited this particular fair at the same time last year and it seemed to be buzzing. Just goes to show that you never can tell.

Are there any other 'pilots' out there who sell at fairs? if so could you tell me whether you have found sales to be quieter than usual?

Anyway, the good news is that B2B is going well, we have just added our tenth stockist and are now in counties other than Yorkshire. Four of these stockists have been since I left the day-job and I haven't even started a serious B2B campaign yet.

Well, to finish this log I just want to say that I am shattered but very happy.

bye for now
