Puttering along, like an old car

It has been a while since I last posted, so thought I would add a bit more content to my pilot's log. I have been putting updates on the website, but I might as well add the odd update in this place as well.
Summer...the lazy, hazy days of. Man, it is just too hot to feel motivated at times. I continue to press on just the same, creating deadlines, and occasionally meeting them. This week: printing for more Nicole knickerbags, that most popular item by far.
In the month of July gee how quaint was pictured in two regional magazines: The Index (not to be confused with the catalogue) and Country & Border which gave my travel set and swim bags a very large viewing space of nearly the whole page!
I also have a friend of a friend (of a friend, etc) who is the stylist for the Desperate Housewives crew. My friend Nikki and I will be giving a gift set to the main stars. Gift sets will include various gee how quaint products and other items from my friends website business. I know, the stars have it all...fame, fortune and groovy free things.
That's really about it. In the meantime I have come to the conclusion that my quitting full time employment is putting a large drain on our family finances. This is such a gutting revelation to have and I am continuously telling myself that this isn't failure. Man, and I was having SO much fun working at home. Realistically, I think it will be a few more years before I can attempt the step again. So now what? Trawling the classifieds.
