Corrections for 3rd print please!
Start Your Business Week by Week has now sold 6,000 copies in the UK! It's well on course to becoming a bestseller in it's first year (A best-selling business book sells over 10,000 copies in a year, and it's done 6,000 in 6 months!!).
It's selling much faster than my publisher expected, so they're now having to rush out the 3rd print early. By Wednesday 18th May, we need to have found every typo, mistake or problem with the book as it stands, and correct it.
This is where I need your help!! Can you reply to this post with anything that you've spotted please? I'll put all the names of people who help out into a hat, and pull one out - I'll think of some kind of prize for the winner!
You need to be a registered user to post a comment or reply - but registration is free and easy. Click on the link on the left.
Thank-you very much for your help!
Steve

Hi Steve,
On page 31 the first link is invalid - a bit frustrating as it's rather lengthy to type in! (The www.econsumer.equifax.com link is the link I mean.)
It would make sense to me (if you can deal with the maintenance) to include a link to the main website (eg www.equifax.com), and a link that'll take you to the correct page redirected by yourself (eg www.flyingstartups.com/link?equifax). This way you can have the computer check that the link still works periodically, and have it warn you if it's changed, and keep it updated yourself. It'd be a lot easier to type in too!
Another suggestion - how about a personal story or two about how YOU got started?
Cheers,
James
Great book and well done for one of the most clearly written and practical business guides I have seen.
This has missed the May deadline that you set but might still be useful for a later revision. On page 25 last major paragraph states "...filling in a copy of the Personal Asset Statements and Monthly Budget Worksheets below..." But I cannot see them anywhere!?
