CRM tool

I am a Virtual Assistant, and I help businesses with their admin. I have had the opportunity to use a lot of different CRMs, because I often input data into CRM system's for my clients. There is a lot of choice out there, and there are some that have a huge number of features.

I have worked with customers who have bought CRMs that have lots of features they never use. These features then clutter up the screen making it more difficult to navigate and input data quickly. When choosing your CRM, I recommend that you first think carefully about what information you need to record. Also, if you are able to customise fields, think carefully about your processes and get your customised fields set up right the first time. It's also worth finding out how easy it is to add customised fields to ensure that your CRM can easily be adapted to fit your business needs as your business starts to grow.

If you are still looking for a CRM, I always recommend my customers use icomplete. I find that icomplete is the most user friendly CRM.

My 2 favourite features
1. attaching documents to the customer record (great for invoices & contracts)
2. adding a customised email address to the bcc field of emails, so email histories are automatically stored on the customer history.

(Ok, so I am plugging icomplete here, but it's only because I hand on heart recommend it to all of my customers. My second favourite CRM is BlueCamroo, but in my opinion, it is too complex for most small businesses' needs.)
