I can't fault Lloyds TSB. Free banking for year one.
Kind regards

Hi,
After having plenty of trouble with Abbey (Hisss) i would recommend you don't go with them, they have free banking for life and you really do get what you pay for, If you have a look through my old posts there's one about the trouble i had with them.
But at the end of the day i think they are all as bad as each other.
Cheers
Paul

Hi,
I can reccomend Allicance & Leceister https://www.alliance-leicestercommercialbank.co.uk/content/SU010031.asp
2 Years free banking, polite UK based staff, and (up to now - no nonsense from them). The internet banking is also good.

I'm using Alliance and Leicester as well, i haven't been with them for long but they sent all the setup info fairly quickly. The only problem with it is that you have to deposit through the post office, so when i get cheques from clients i've got to fish out my cheque deposit book - thats my first task for this morning.
From what i've read they are the best ones to go for at the minute, but none of the internet reviews for any of the banks are too positive. It needs a 'suck it and see' approach i think.
