In order to protect your name and logo you will need to trade mark it. The first thing to do is to check whether the name has already been taken and trade marked. If the name has not been taken then you will need to visit The Intellectual Property Office at www.ipo.gov.uk to start registering your name and logo. Before you begin this process it would be a good idea to read up on it and make sure you understand the ins and outs of trade-marking.
