I have worked my way through start your business week by week and have just registered a new training company and I guess most people would be happy to have my issue: throughout the process of starting up I was incredibly lucky to have a part time job, which I have still got, and really enjoy.

The issue though is this: how should I develop my business when I have only got limited time to commit ? I have disused this with friends that I trust and they have basically said to me that I should take every opportunity I can to develop and grow the business, using weekends, holidays, and flex time to my advantage if the jobs start to come in. I also have people I know in a similar field, who I would trust to do the jobs for me if I really could not.

The other issue for me is that I am disabled, that is one of the reasons why I started a business in the first place, so I could have freedom and run my hours in the way I want, but because of this I have to be careful not to burn myself out(I think I need to learn meditation from a chair)

I have been lucky enough to secure start up funding from an organisation called unlimited, which is a massive help, and makes me feel proud, and it makes me know that someone who does not know me believes in me, and has given me valuable experience of completing funding applications.

I know that that this may not appear to be an issue for some people, but if anyone has had a similar experience, I would appreciate the benefit of it .

Many Thanks
Gemma
