Hi everyone,
I'm just in the process of starting a big marketing campaign and I want to perfect the site a little more in the meantime. I'm happy with the website product but there is things I need to amend, stock photo's to the front page, product photography, more stock and descriptions.
I am currently learning the art of photography instead of relying on other people, which I have done in the past. I shall be increasing my products in the next couple of weeks as for the descriptions, well that takes the gift of the gab so I'm working on that one.
I'm happy with my categories but I think some of my sub categories are wrong. I have only 16 character spaces in total so I have already provided sub catergories, which I thought was best at the time but visually it doesn’t look right to me (the existing s/c do currently work).
I know the Body & Bath works but I’m not convinced with the rest i.e. Cute, Unique etc. The products look visually wrong, should I be categorising the silver products together and calling the S/C silver or even slinky silver. I don't want to S/C the supplier, as I believe I could lose customers that way by providing too many details.
Home, garden, pets, special occasions, cards and stationary appear to be visually right and also self-explanatory, I don’t know maybe not.
I would welcome any feedback before my advertising starts on the 1st August so that I can make the changes or do you believe my current s/c are ok as they are.
