web site re-designed - what do you guys think.. any feedback woudl be great!

Hi there,

First impressions are very good. Clean and clear and a simple quote to get me to go on. Being picky (i'm a photographer, so notice pics where others don't) a guy using a laptop to listen to music has nothing to do with free calls.. lol.

Menu page is again clear and nice. Alignment is a little off using safari on a mac os X.

Shop is good, except it would be nice to see prices without having to go into the detail o each product.

The thing that puts me off is why is this better over skype? How many users are worldwide, i.e. how much use are free calls to other users. What is quality like. Is it really business class. (I would argue that skype isn't).

The first thing i do before i buy from a company i don't know is look at the about us. You don't mention anything about who you really are. no contact details, who's behind it, technology, backup etc. (OK so i can be a little over the top and look up the postcode on google earth to see what sort of premesis the company occupies!)If i was going to put my most important business tool in your hands i would want to know it's in safe hands. I would rather pay BT x pence a minute because i know it will work and they will be around in 5 years than save a few pence. I know others share this view - i used to work in a large international law firm and nothing could persuade the partners that switching was worth it. They would rather spend £20k a year than save maybe £10k - £15k and risk loosing 1 single call or having a bad line.

Visually it's really nice.... i just think this sort of thing, and i have seen tens if not hundreds of other people offering the same sort of service needs to do a much more convincing sell the establish it as a true business proposition.

Just to add my bit to this, I agree with Mark. It's a great looking site, but the way it's been put together could be improved. In particular I'd be worried about the fact that so much of the site relies on images and that the images haven't been given alternative text (a behind-the-scenes bit of info that is essential for accessibility and search engine optimisation). In particular, if you turn off images on the home page there's nothing there, so it's as good as invisible to Google!
