Hi,

Just thought I had better say Hello and who I am as I hope to use this website more, chat to people, develop ideas and who knows... help others!

Like everyone else, I have to say what a great book(s) Parks has wrote, it has sure given me that little bit more of a motivational boost that I needed.

Anyway, I live in Truro Cornwall; it seems if you have ambitions in life here. you have to commute for several hours every day in order to get a decent job, OR work for yourself! Ive lived here 10 years now and really dont want to move away if I can help it!

Im just 19 and finished college a few months ago, I did a National Diploma in Business and Management for two years and REALLY enjoyed it, its probably helped me to bring out my entrepreneurial side more so, although at the age of 9, my parents let me have a shelf in their store (in Derbyshire) selling silk (artificial) flowers which I did make quite a bit of pocket money from! However, now I cant see how it would be profitable on a larger scale and through now living in Cornwall!

I am constantly trying to come up with business ideas but just cant seem to find anything worthwhile as yet. I guess its just a waiting game until something is sparked and that idea becomes reality. However one thing I do know, I will try to make a big success, failure is a possibility, but just not an option!

So anyway, thats a bit about me, I cant wait to get that 'idea' now and just get something started!

Hi Richard,
No innovative ideas for you at present. However, if you have time for another book that might help you spark something, try 'Make Money Be Happy' by Carmel McConnell. It was this that made me take my bold step.

Hi Richard,
Cornwall's a beautiful place I can see why you wouldn't want to move away.
One idea I have been pondering for awhile now is running a hire company for Seabobs www.seabob.com
they're on big demand by scuba divers and for general recreation also there is an opening for new water sports using them perhaps ??? Worth taking a look i think anyway

Other than that I'd suggest a work from home business or internet business. Network Marketing is very Profitable and there are many reputable companies i'd suggest shopping around to find the one for you. I've joined a new one www.uvme.net/271206CH

Also had a Idea for Miniture Golf mixed with a conference centre for short stays but havent done enough research to see if it suitable for your area
