Very new to this forum and in the very early stages of looking into starting a cattery business with my other half. We have started doing a lot of research into the business but looking for advice from anyone that can help (market research; planning and what to look for / avoid etc). Our key challenge is it will involve finding a good location with and a minimum of £50k investment to build the pens. with 30 pens we estimate a £100k annual t/o so currently trying to work out costs, risks and how best to go about getting finance.

Suggestions, thoughts and advice greatly welcome :)

Even today, with so much

Even today, with so much information on the internet - there is very little specialist information available on starting a cattery – and certainly nothing in the depth of advice you’re looking for right now.

One need to check with their

One need to check with their local Animal Control and Protection agency to see how the laws in their county are and which licenses their country or region require for a cattery business.marcus hall
