Week 14: Planning to Avoid Trouble
This week is about identifying possible future challenges to your business. These may come from competitors, customers, suppliers, employees, government, or pretty much anywhere else!
Broadly they fall under these categories:
1. Political
2. Economic
3. Social
4. Technological
5. Environmental
6. Competitive
These six categories are called the PESTEC framework, and there is more description of it in the book.
Use these headings to guide you in making a list of all the possible challenges that could occur. Now how would you deal with each one?
You may well find this helps you improve your idea even further. | This week is about identifying possible future challenges to your business. These may come from competitors, customers, suppliers, employees, government, or pretty much anywhere else!
